Dead Baby Chick

I actually contemplated whether I should blog this dream/sleep walk or not.  It is a short one, but demented, none the less. . .

I was dreaming that I was pregnant with about 25 baby chicken eggs.  They were about the size of golf balls, perfectly round too and they sat down at the bottom of my stomach.  I also carried about 10 on the top of my 2 feet.  Well, I reached up to touch my nose because it felt like I was getting a bloody nose and when I put my finger on my nostril, I could feel something hard and skinny there.  I suddenly realized it was a chick's toe!  I was miscarrying through my nose.  I jumped out of bed (in real life) and ran to the bathroom still feeling the chick's toe with my finger.  I freaked out because when I got to the bathroom, the door was locked.  Brian was taking a shower.  I knew any minute this dead chick was going to come out and I wasn't mentally prepared to see a dead baby, not to mention, I knew a ton of blood was going to come with it.  I stood in panic for a minute when I realized I was just dreaming.

I went back to my bed and checked my nose for what ever I thought was a baby chicken's toe and of course, there was nothing there.  I grabbed my computer to go on face book.  It was midnight and I needed to get my mind of my demented dream so I could go back to sleep.  The computer was super bright, hurting my eyes.  I didn't care.  I needed to get that dream out of my thoughts!

Apartment Fire

A couple of nights ago I dreamt that there was a fire in an apartment that we were apparently living in and we all got out safely.  I went into panic mode when I thought about all our pets and my photo albums.  I ran up and down the inside hallways looking for my door.  There were 2 levels and elevators and escalators everywhere.  I couldn't find my apartment and I knew that every second counted to save our pets.  I ran back outside and Angela (Aly's old coach's wife) was out in the parking lot with my family and told me my apartment number to help me find my apartment easier.

I ran back inside and found a help counter with 2 ladies in the middle of all the apartments at an information desk.  The apartments looked much like an hotel and I could see all the doors for the apartments surrounding us on the level up above too.  There was a metal, curvy stairway in the middle of nowhere going up next to the desk.  It lead to an open hole in the ceiling.  An old lady was going up to look for her husband in the fire.  I pretended to be going with her to help her because no one was allowed to go back into the burning building.  When I got up there I found my apartment that was on fire.  It was the size of a doll house and there were a lot of them lined up against a wall in a room and they were all on fire.  I stuck my hand through the front door of the house and pulled out a tiny, tiny glass tank that had my hedgehog, Spike in it.  (In real life, Spike died a few years ago).  He was running on his wheel.  I also grabbed another pet out of the house, but I can't remember who it was.  Then, I sat there trying to remember all the pets that I had because I was sure I was missing one.  That's when my cousin, Heather, pointed to a table that was right next to my house and there was a cat, sleeping on a pillow.  The cat and the pillow together were about the size of a marble and so were the other 2 pets I had gotten out of the house.   I softly called out "Oscar" and the orange, sleeping kitty woke up and was so happy to see me.  (In real life, Oscar, has been missing for a few months).   Aly's old coach, Jad, who was the fire chief, told me that we had to leave for our safety.  I had all of my pets in the palm of my hand and I made a fist with them inside so I could protect them while we got out of there.  My cousin, Heather, opened up the front of the dollhouse (which was originally my apartment) and pulled out all my photo albums that were inside.  I put everything in a wagon and started to pull it away when I woke up.
